I met a BG in Kam X Sauna last year. She gave the name of her Hong Kong boyfriend to me and requested me to check whether he was a solicitor. He told her that he was a legal professional and asked the BG to give him a hand in terms of financial assistance. As a matter of fact, her boyfriend's name did not appear in the list of the registered solicitors, nor the membership list of the Law Society. One month later, when I met the BG and intended to tell her the result. She reponded that the truth ascertained at the time was meaningless because she had already lent him a considerable amount of money.
