It is said that New York tap water is delicious. But why is that? Maybe because it has plenty of tinny tiny crustaceans called copepods.

These copepods are absolutely harmless and are invisible to a naked eye. Apparently, they are added to tap water to eat mosquito larvae

to keep water sources clear.
